Meet Ivy's First Family
Kevin Swann is the Pastor of Ivy Baptist Church. He has a passion for teaching God’s Word and spending time with people of all backgrounds. As a result, Ivy Baptist Church has grown significantly in number and in spiritual maturity. Church then, according to Pastor Swann is not about religion, but about a genuine and committed relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Pastor Swann and his wife, Lady Tatrece Swann, live with their 2 kids, Kameron and Cole, in Hampton, Virginia.
Beyond the Walls
Ivy is all about serving our community and making a positive impact in the lives of those around us.
Our church is involved in various outreach programs and initiatives that address the needs of our local community. Whether it’s through food drives, community events and more, we aim to be the “hands and feet of Jesus” outside of the walls of our church.
We work very hard to reflect Christ’s love through our actions and to be a source of support and encouragement for those in need. As Romans 12:5 reminds us:
“So in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.”
